Pesticide Exposure Group of Sufferers
One of the first groups to help sheep dip sufferers was PEGS (so named because it wanted to give victims something to hand on to) founded by Enfys Chatman who herself was badly affected by OPs sprayed from a helicopter. (more about Enfys here)
By 1992 PEGS had over 6,000 members of which 2,500 were people who had been affected by sheep dip.
As Enfys's health deteriorated in 1998 the work of PEGS was taken on by the Pesticide Trust and renamed as PEX which produced regular newsletters until 2010 when it morphed into the Pesticide Action Network (see others)
